Bumps and year-end ratings
You're bumped when your year-end NTRP rating goes up a level. USTA publishes year-end ratings at the end of each year, each marked with a C after the number.

Does the Desk predict bumps?
Section titled “Does the Desk predict bumps?”No, the Desk predicts no one's year-end rating or bump, on any page or to any agent. Its research gives rates over whole groups of past players, which say nothing about any one player in them. All of it is at Research.
The Desk records how pages are used, including what is typed, and keeps recordings for up to 30 days, as the terms explain.
