Plan a lineup

With a Desk Pass, you see your win chance on each line against another team, and who has played most for your team.

  • In the chat. Name each team in full, as in “What are BELVEDERE TC 18AM4.0A's chances against MILL VALLEY 18AM4.0A?”
  • From your own agent. Your agent uses the plan_lineup tool.
  • In your team's announcement. With a Desk Pass, the announcement page adds a suggested lineup. Each line shows a win chance when the other team is on the Desk too.

Every forecast counts toward a weekly limit, which the chat and your agents share.

Tell the chat who's away, like “Jane is out this week”, and your win chances move most on the lines they've played.

Say “Ann and Bea play Doubles 1” in the chat, so the win chances follow your picks. The forecast uses who has played a line if you omit it or give a name it can't place. Your agent can also use the lineup you name.

Signed in, the chat and your agent suggest doubles pairs. For Combo and 55, 65 and 70 and over teams, the Desk picks each line's strongest pair by Desk level that the league allows. For other teams, Mixed included, the Desk ranks your players by Desk level, and the chat or your agent pairs them. Anyone you say is away is left out. A pair has no win chance, so check it before you send your lineup.

When both teams are on the Desk, you see each line's win chance and expected lines won. Beside each chance, you see how strong the other team has been on that line, as a Desk level, the Desk's estimate of how players are playing now.

The forecast reads who each team has played so far (how it works), so check it against who's free this week.

A team's roster, record, head-to-head record and scout are free. Each line's win chance comes with a Desk Pass.

The Desk records how pages are used, including what is typed, and keeps recordings for up to 30 days, as the terms explain.
